Saint Anthony's Church

art and monuments

It was built in 1660 by the Virgin Mary’s Congregation (founded in Marineo in 1660), in a quarter, which was then named after this church. It keeps an image of Saint Anthony from Padova, painted in the period of the foundation.
In 1755, the church was enriched by Father Navarra’s gift of his patrimony. Inside the church, there is a painting of XVIII century, restored in 1986, representing Saint Raymond.
The church has rich sacred fittings, such as silver chalices, censers and aborium.
