The municipal council acts for the community, settles the political, social and economic trends of the municipality and supervises their carrying out. It votes the communal statute, the regulations, the plans for the public-works and their relative financial plans, the territorial and the town-planning projects, the annual budget and its following variations. All the acts concerning the planning fall within the competence of the town council, which holds public meetings. The town dwellers can attend these sessions. |
